What is this — high school? These approval ratings are in a time where most of the country doesn't approve of virtually anything. This concept is so antiquated, the pollsters might as well ask the public, in the presidential race, to vote for "Best Dressed", "Most Likely To Succeed", "Cutest Couple", "Class Clown", "MVP", "Best Smile" and "Most Likely to Bring Back Canadian Beer Through the Windsor Tunnel." In this episode of Rumble, Michael Moore discusses the stupidity of presidential approval ratings and why it doesn't matter how low Biden's is because there still aren't enough Americans willing to return criminal defendant #4913961R to the White House. Says Mike, "Biden could run somebody over in the middle of 5th Avenue and it still won't matter. He will get a second term — and your brother-in-law is still not invited to Thanksgiving dinner this year." Because Republicans and Trumpsters know they are unable put down their own suicide pills, they soldier on in denying women (the majority gender) their basic reproductive rights — and they continue making it so easy for mass killers to buy as many assault rifles as they want (according to The New Republic, American citizens have now stockpiled 400 million guns in their homes, more than the entire US armed forces, Dept. of Homeland Security, and all local police agencies combined). And women, young adults and people of color, by a large margin, hate the Right for making this happen. On top of all of that, Republicans tried to remove from office two young elected Black Tennessee House members for standing up against this gun violence, thus denying 175,000 Tennesseans their voice in the State Capitol. Millions of young voters have sent their anti-Republican memes and TikToks everywhere and they will determinedly continue their decades-long rejection of this old, stale, rotten Party. In this episode of his Rumble podcast, Michael Moore explores the impending end of a GOP hell-bent on throwing themselves over a cliff. When you’re young, you can only take so much b.s. And when you watch a bunch of older white racist Southern men — i.e., the Republican supermajority of the Tennessee House of Representatives — attack two young black elected House members for “improper decorum” when they spoke out against gun violence just two days after the mass school shooting last week in Nashville, well racist acts are nothing new to the state where the KKK was born. So last night the Tennessee House Republicans expelled the two young Black Democratic representatives for daring to give voice to those too young to vote — but old enough to be killed at school. It was a stunning moment in the fight against those who seek to destroy our Democracy. In this Emergency Podcast System episode of Rumble, recorded moments after the final vote, Mike reveals the silver lining: the more young adults who watch the footage of this travesty, the sooner we will witness the eventual demise of the white man’s Republican Party. ******************** Watch the Tennessee House debate and vote on Resolutions to remove Democratic Representatives Justin Jones, Gloria Johnson, and Justin Pearson online at C-Span.org: Klik hier by: George Walker IV ******************** Write to Mike: mike@michaelmoore.com

The last thing you expect to hear on a quiet Sunday afternoon in your Northern Michigan apartment two blocks off Lake Michigan, in the middle of winter, is the sonic BOOM of a fighter jet breaking the sound barrier. But that's exactly what Michael Moore’s neighborhood heard yesterday afternoon, February 12, 2023. Why? Because the U.S. Air Force was on its way to shooting down the 3rd UFO of THIS WEEKEND — this time over Lake Huron. All this and after that Chinese spy balloon last weekend. WTF is going on? It's time to ask some uncomfortable questions... A little over a week ago, Michael watched, along with millions of Americans, 5 Memphis police officers brutally execute 29-year-old photographer and father, Tyre Nichols — a 2nd-shift Fed-Ex employee en route home on his dinner break to sit at his mother’s table for some of her home-cooked sesame chicken — and felt… Numb. A week later, he finally realized why. Under the guise of transparency, we are being lied to — including by Memphis police chief Cerelyn Davis. On this episode of Rumble, Michael Moore pulls the mask off and exposes the truth: there are no heroes here, they haven’t scratched the surface of accountability, this is merely damage control being sold as “justice.” Please listen, and share. "Blue Dots in a Red Sea" Part 12: Goodbye Red. Hello Blue! Over two weeks ago, on Christmas Day, Michael launched his special Rumble mini-podcast series “Blue Dots in a Red Sea: How to Win When You’re Blue in a Red State” with ideas and strategies of how we can build on our Blue Wall momentum from the 2022 midterm elections, and turn even more red states, red counties, and red towns blue in time for the 2024 election. On this final episode, he reflects on the lessons learned throughout the series, and looks to the road ahead… What if we do this? What would that Blue world look like? Could we handle the joy?… Please listen, and share. "Blue Dots in a Red Sea" Part 11: The Ballot Proposal. Yes, you can pass a law. We are often told that we are led by a “government of the people, by the people, for the people.” But being a liberal/left/progressive/Democrat in a red state, run by a red legislature intent on banning books, suppressing the vote of its Black and Brown citizens, and stripping women of their right to bodily autonomy, it can feel more like you’re living in a 16th century Christian state or last week in Alabama. And change seems at best improbable, but most often impossible. Yet, 26 states — including a bunch of red states like Mississippi, Florida, Wyoming and more — offer a clear path for citizens to create change and pass laws themselves, through ballot initiatives. That’s how a red state like Nebraska raised its minimum wage by nearly 70%, how a red state like Montana legalized marijuana, and how Michigan was able to break free from its gerrymandered red chains and turn blue. In episode 11 of Michael Moore's Rumble miniseries “Blue Dots in a Red Sea,” he encourage those that live in states (or the District of Columbia) that allow citizen-led ballot proposals to use this incredible tool in this 2024 election cycle. And for those that live in states that don’t, to implore their state legislatures — especially in blue states like New York — to change that! "Blue Dots in a Red Sea" Part 10: Recruit and Run a Beloved Blue Winner Perhaps the most important job your new Blue Man and Woman Group needs to do is to find candidates to run as Democrats and win! In a red county! The last three national elections in 2018, 2020 and 2022 saw many liberal/left/progressive Democrats defeat Republicans in red states and counties across America. Every district, every county in the red states has thousands of people who are pro-choice, pro-earth, anti-racist, anti-gerrymandering and believe the way you believe. If you are forming a new group of like-minded people in your area, make one of your first jobs be candidate recruitment. You must find the right people to run in 2024. Not the same old well-meaning folks who always lose. New blood! Fresh faces! Women, young adults, beloved citizens of your town. Not politician types. Just good people who will listen to voters and work hard to win their votes. Community heroes, progressive preachers, Girl Scout leaders, everyone’s favorite English teacher. When they run as Democrats, especially in red areas, now they often win. The effort to find the right candidates must happen now. Get with your friends and brainstorm a list. The right candidates exist on your street. In this episode of Rumble, Michael Moore lays out how progressives can win in red districts. It all comes down to casting! Share ideas on how to win. How to run the right candidates. Raise money for them in Idaho or West Virginia. Hold potlucks over Zoom. Get in the car and go visit them. At election time make calls and send postcards for their candidates. You can help turn a red area blue! "Blue Dots in a Red Sea" Part 8: Start Your Own Local Online Paper Local journalism in the United States is virtually dead. And when there's no free press, eventually there'll be no democracy. And if you live in a red state, it's even worse. If you live in any red area, you can almost guarantee there is no journalistic watchdog keeping an eye on the local men with the money and the power. What better project for your new Blue group to do than to start up your own online local "newspaper." A little bit of reporting goes a long way, and it's a great place to share your opinions and to explain our agenda. This endeavor can be your public Voice. Even if it's just a few of you, your neighbors will be happy to have a place to go where they can read about what's really happening in your town. Michael Moore explains how he did a similar thing when he was twenty. Listen and share. "Blue Dots in a Red Sea" Part 7: Michael Moore’s 2023 New Year’s Resolutions: “More Democracy!” In this Rumble episode #7 of “Blue Dots in a Red Sea,” Michael Moore invites you to join him in his list of New Year’s resolutions intended to increase the level Democracy in the United States. Gerrymandering, the Electoral College, and the Filibuster have no place in a democracy and must be eliminated. Red states will remain red as long as the right wing draws the maps and “elects” candidates who lose the popular vote. Mike suggest a list of 10 things we must do to bring true democracy to this country. "Blue Dots in a Red Sea" Part 6: Our Civic Duty — WE Must Attend! On this Rumble episode of Michael Moore's special podcast series, “Blue Dots in a Red Sea,” Mike asks for all of us to attend one or two school board, town council or County Commission meetings this coming year — to be there as a Democratic/Progressive/Left witness to what the elected officials are up to. In a red, Republican area, they are very used to no one showing up, especially not any liberals or the new Blue group you and your friends are forming. And all you’re doing is just sitting there, quietly observing, taking notes and minding your own business. You will report back to your Blue group via email and social media what happened at the meeting. Maybe nothing happened. That is, until all of a sudden someone on the school board proposed banning a dozen books because they contained “gay characters.” And then that’s your cue to approach the podium during the public comment section, introduce yourself as a representative of the local new Democrats (pause for a second so they can adjust their brains as they’ve never met anybody calling themself a “Democrat” in Red Snake County) and then kindly tell them that your group will not tolerate any kind of bigoted book banning and there will be many more of you at the next meeting. And that’s how change happens. Simply because you showed up. Have a safe New Year’s Eve. Say goodbye to 2022 and let’s get ready to rock the casbah in 2023! The Blue Tsunami is just beginning! "Blue Dots in a Red Sea" Part 5: “Need Help? Call the Democrats!” On this episode of Mike’s mission to turn Red into Blue, he offers a number of specific ideas for progressives and liberals (who are stuck in deep red parts of the country) to establish liberal Democratic outposts that provide real, everyday help to anyone in need, regardless of their political affiliation. Mike believes that once a few people see how it’s the libs and the Dems who are truly here to help, a seismic political shift will begin. Nothing says “love your enemy” more than giving his kid a free winter coat or some tutoring help on his daughter’s history test. Soon the citizens of Red Snake County will see it’s the Democrats who are here to help. This episode is a must-listen. Send it to friends and families trapped in red districts. "Blue Dots in a Red Sea" Part 4: It’s Time to Form Your Own Local "Democratic Party!" Now that you know there are THOUSANDS of like-minded progressives, liberals, Democrats, independents and nonvoters in your red county and state, it’s time to get to work and have a gathering of this new Blue Tsunami movement. It’s time to either jump in and grow the existing local Democratic Party or, better yet, start your own Dem org if a seriously active and successful one doesn’t currently exist. On this quickie episode of Michael Moore’s special series this week (and next) of mini podcasts — “Blue Dots in a Red Sea” — Mike lays out a simple plan to create a new Blue movement in your red town, county and state. It’s going to attract new people, young people, and we’re going to have fun flipping one red office holder after another. "Blue Dots in a Red Sea" Part 3: They Are More Blue Than You — Or They — Know SPOILER ALERT! Your neighbors and coworkers are a lot more progressive than you think. They already agree with you on so many things. If you talk to them, not about Democrats vs. Republicans but rather about clean air vs. polluted air, or the Golden Rule vs. the Rule of the Bullies, or women being paid the same as men vs. not, you’ll find more agreement with each other than not. So your Blue army is much bigger than you thought. In this third episode of Michael Moore’s special 12-day mini podcast series — "Blue Dots in a Red Sea" — spreading his strategy of how we can turn red into blue across the country, Mike helps you find the people who already agree with you but would never call themselves a Democrat. No matter how isolated you feel living in your conservative town, how lonely it seems in your Trumpster county, how appalling it is to be in your Republican state, the truth is you are surrounded by thousands of like-minded people who voted for Biden and who will fight for change. It just takes the effort of finding them and then acting together. Isn’t saving this country worth the try? In this episode of Michael Moore’s special Rumble series, “Blue Dots in a Red Sea,” Mike tells you how to find your fellow travelers and the beautiful havoc you can all raise together to stop the madness, the hatred and the bigotry you’ve been drowning in from Florida to Texas to Montana. Today begins Michael's 12-day podcast tsunami series called Blue Dots in a Red Sea: How to Win When You're Blue in a Red State. A special note from Michael: "You and I and millions of others in our Blue Tsunami this fall stopped the predicted red wave — and now what’s left of the Republicans finds them in complete discombobulation. And the January 6th final report is every bit as damning as we thought it would be. Now it’s time to take on the next job the pundits will proclaim we will have no chance at accomplishing: Start turning some red states and counties BLUE! I say it can be done — I’ve done it personally! — and there are so many examples of flipping red to blue in last month’s midterms that we must keep this momentum going! In this podcast series, I will show you practical strategies that will keep the Republicans off guard and unaware that we are in the process of pulling the literal rug right out from under them in the 2024 election. If you live in a red area — or have family or friends who do — you won’t want to miss this blueprint I’m laying out for us to win and bring an end to most of the right wing madness. Please listen and share with others! No one will see this coming! More fun! More Blue! Thanks all and happy holidays!!" On the first day of the 118th Congress, in a performance not witnessed by this nation in nearly 170 years, the House Republicans chose to commit a mass murder-suicide of their last vestige of electoral political power, putting on a humiliating show to the world, and offering massive relief to all who worried about the damage they might do to the USA over the next two years. We learned yesterday that the only true destruction these MAGA-heads are capable of now is taking their own running leap off the cliff of the Capitol Dome. The irony that these insurrectionist-loving traitors would, just two years later, conduct an actual uprising against themselves is pure, sweet Justice. Michael Moore, on this episode of Rumble, offers his play-by-play review of this mad, insane day, brought to us live on C-SPAN, with the “losing” party in the House looking like the winners, running the show, providing the laugh track and winning every ballot with the most votes for Democrat Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker of the House. Clowns may look scary, but sleep safe tonight America, this batch of Bozos is incapable of doing much harm to anyone other than themselves. On this episode of Rumble with Michael Moore, Mike dives deep into our biggest terrorist threat — us. Or, more specifically, the fact that one of our two major parties is led by hundreds of elected officials who still want to overthrow the government by overturning the 2020 election AND by suppressing the votes of Black Americans. Mike calls these efforts an act of treason. Plus, the current and still twice-impeached leader of that party has now called for the "termination" of the United States Constitution — and the demand that he be installed as our unelected dictator. Madness! But it’s real, it’s still with us, and in 3 weeks 118 House members and 10 U.S Senators — all of whom voted on the night of January 6, 2021 to overturn the election — will be sworn in as part of our 118th US Congress. This sacred headquarters of our Democracy will house 128 traitors who tried to overthrow our government. What are we to do about this? To help create and cement the historical record, Mike names the names of each one of these traitors. Senator Kyrsten Sinema is still the same Kyrsten Sinema she’s been for the past four years. So she’s no longer a Democrat. We already knew that. And she has sworn she won’t caucus with the Republicans. “I will continue to vote the way I’ve been voting in the Senate,” she said today. So that means she’ll continue to support the filibuster, continue to support the rich paying less taxes, continue to block anything that sounds too socialist to her. She’ll also continue to be this: She votes for Biden’s bills 93% of the time; has voted 100% to approve every Biden judicial nominee; twice voted to convict Trump and remove him from office; voted against Amy Coney Barrett being placed on the Supreme Court; voted to put Ketanji Brown Jackson on the Supreme Court; and is trying in the final three weeks of this session to pass a DACA bill to protect over 2 million “Dreamers” who were brought here as children. In this Emergency Podcast System episode of Rumble, Mike holds out his hand to anyone who has freaked out over today’s news in order to help them step away from the ledge (relax, the Dems still control the Senate) and take a look at how this may turn out to be just what we needed. This week the world lost an incredible force of good, the godmother of the modern documentary, Julia Reichert, whose groundbreaking work inspired countless filmmakers that followed — including 17-year-old Michael Moore in 1971 when he drove his parents' car to Ann Arbor to watch her first film, Growing Up Female, a subversive feminist documentary, in an auditorium on the University of Michigan campus. Years later, they would become friends, and today on Rumble, Michael pays tribute to Julia. Also, fresh off the United States Men’s soccer team’s loss in the 2022 World Cup, Michael shares his take on the world’s game of football, and gives one final push to Rumble listeners to Get Out the Vote for Senator Raphael Warnock before the final midterm runoff election in Georgia this Tuesday. Last night, on November 29, 2022, a federal jury in Washington, D.C., found that indeed there was an actual conspiracy to commit sedition — the overthrow of our democratically-elected government — by a number of white male American citizens in the weeks leading up to the January 6th violent insurrection that ransacked the Capitol and sent 535 members of Congress and the lackey vice-president, plus their staffs, fleeing for their lives. But it turns out the five Americans convicted of various offenses did not include their ringleader, Donald John Trump. Until that happens, Justice has not happened. Imagine, if you will, for just one moment, a United States Congress — the House and the Senate — without a single Republican holding office. A party of traitors that the American people simply vote entirely out of office. Poof. Gone. History. We’ve done it before, voting out and ending entire political parties. Other democracies have voted every right-winger out of office. Sometimes, the only way to save yourselves is to crush the enemy who is hell-bent on crushing you. Thanks to a Supreme Court that Trump packed with religious zealots, they issued an edict on June 24th that sealed their doom and the end of the Republican Party as we know it. THIS JUST IN: The citizens of the State of Kansas — which is one of our reddest and most Republican states — has just voted in an overwhelming landslide tonight to keep abortion legal and available to all women! Here Michael Moore sends the word out to all that those who seek to take rights away from women shall not succeed and will be defeated in this fall’s election. Voters in Kansas came out in droves on Tuesday to tell the Supreme Court where they could go. Their message to the rest of us is clear: We have 3 months to work as hard as we can to save our Democracy. All Democrats must sign a pledge to make Roe v Wade the law of the land — and to eliminate the filibuster. All Republicans who voted against certifying the legal results of the 2020 election must go to wherever traitors go. Last week Pope Francis visited Canada to apologize and seek forgiveness for the crimes committed by the Catholic Church against the indigenous peoples of Canada. He called that practice of Christianity “evil.” On the first day of his visit Mike received an email from one of Canada’s most well known and beloved Native Canadians, the folksinger Buffy Sainte Marie. When the news of the week’s events becomes so deafening, so monstrous, that it overwhelms us — we miss critical other events that will affect us greatly. This week, filled with the Supreme Court declaring women second-class citizens, the January 6th Hearing confirming Trump sought to stage a coup, and mass shootings continuing nationwide, there were vital stories that went uncovered and ignored. On today’s podcast Mike shares with his audience three big stories that were overlooked by the majority of the American public: the successful unionizing of the first Apple Store; the Israeli Defense Force shooting and killing an American journalist; and the Michigan Supreme Court on Tuesday unanimously blocking the prosecution of the Republican ex-governor for poisoning the water of Flint, Michigan. The night of the Uvalde massacre, Michael gave his first televised response to a mass shooting in over a decade. And what he said was so powerful, and so truthful, it frightened Democrats who are afraid to go all the way to stop this madness. It frightened Republicans so much, one their craziest, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), took to the House floor this week to denounce Michael by name during the debate on possible new gun laws. What did he say? Just the same thing over a hundred million Americans were already thinking but nobody on TV was saying. This week was another sick celebration of the American way. And all week Michael has been haunted by this unanswered question — What is the number? Last week we blinked and opened our eyes to a vision of a different world. A nightmare foretold is to become our future — a U.S. citizen who becomes pregnant can be stripped of their bodily autonomy and forced, by the U.S. government, to give birth. Attempt to abort the fetus, and you can be charged with murder. The idea of that reality is draconian and horrific. But what most people don’t know is that we are already living in a reality that is much more sinister. Confide in a desperate text to your friend your fears of being pregnant, or simply Google the word “abortion” before having a miscarriage… and you can be charged with murder. On this episode of Rumble, Michael is joined by Cynthia Conti-Cook, award-winning civil rights attorney and current Technology Fellow on the Ford Foundation’s Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Justice team. Long before he first hosted “Late Night with David Letterman,” Michael was a fan of David Letterman's wicked humor that was often based on his total lack of respect for authority, pomposity, and those who make life miserable for the little guy. When it was announced Letterman would have a nightly show on NBC beginning on February 1, 1982, Michael made his way from Flint to New York to see if he could get a stand-by ticket to sit in the audience during Letterman's first week on the air. He succeeded. Letterman's guest that night? Filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola. Michael couldn’t believe his luck. At that time it would be another seven years before his first film, Roger & Me, would be released. In this episode Michael talks about what he learned about satire from David Letterman while sitting and watching him from Flint. And how Letterman impacted Michael (without knowing it) and the film and TV work he would eventually do. This episode of Rumble is a personal peek behind how Michael grew to reach his own audience thanks in part to the inspiration Dave offered him. **************** Watch the Late Night with David Letterman episodes & clips featured in this episode of Rumble: February 8, 1982 episode featuring Francis Ford Coppola Klik hier 18, 1986 episode clip when Dave takes a fruit basket to GE, his new bosses Klik hier 27, 1989 episode clip of Michael’s first interview with Dave, after the release of Roger & Me Klik hier in today’s episode: I Was in the House When The House Burned Down — Warren Zevon: Klik hier underwriters: 1) Anchor.fm can help you start your own podcast. On this provocative episode of Rumble with Michael Moore, Mike speaks the awful truth about how our environmental movement has failed us and why we must change course — and leadership — immediately. Planet Earth is fed up with us, and from climate to coronavirus, it sees no choice but to throw an extinction event. As a follow-up to Mike’s Substack letter last week — “At Earth Day’s End” — he raises the stakes again after sitting through one more Earth Day that offered no hope that we are going to get this right. It’s another week of mind-dumbing drivel and tragedy, beginning with the Senate Republicans’ racist mansplainin’ and prop-making of the brilliant new nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court — where, in the near future, this white privileged performance art will not exist any longer. Make no mistake — that hearing wasn’t a hearing. It was a dry run for the Republicans’ staging of this November’s midterms — running their candidates on the Q-Anon agenda and honing their election-stealing plans to perfection. Mike also shares his latest thoughts on how the war in Ukraine is “progressing” — and suggests Zelensky should switch the narrative regarding the hapless Russian army and surprise Putin by now conducting a Ukrainian invasion of Russia. It’s what a true satirist president would do. And it would make Putin’s head spin out of control just long enough for the generals and the oligarchs to stage their coup and end this madness. ******** Don’t wait for the Supreme Court verdict; help protect women’s right to choose TODAY. It’s been three weeks since Putin invaded Ukraine. Three… long… weeks. Three weeks of an endless, looping news cycle. Change the channel — same story, different pundits. But behind the horrific videos of tanks blowing up cars and dead bodies in the streets, behind the escalating, heartbreaking stories of refugees fleeing in terror and American journalists being killed, Michael senses something more sinister is at play. We, the American public, who never met a war we didn’t like, are being manipulated by other Americans who are trying to take us to war. Politicians, pundits, ex-Generals and corporate masters looking for greater profits. And no heartstring will be left unplayed until they have our ear and we the people are demanding blood. The only thing for us to do is to fight back and make it clear — No Americans in Ukraine, no air war with Russia, no World War III. ************** Call the House and Senate switchboard at: 202-224-3121 202-225-3121 Find out how to contact your Senator here. Late Wednesday night —at least, late at night here in the states — Russia launched a full-fledged assault on Ukraine. Refugees have fled the country in droves, and Putin’s army has moved in on or around nearly every major city in a matter of 36 hours. It’s a nightmare scenario. But there are those already beating the drum for the United States to “do more.” More? More of what? No, you don’t want us anywhere near this. The United States, which for the past half-century, has only made things worse every single place we have sent in the bomber jets or the troops who are about to die for all the wrong reasons. We can no longer claim the moral high ground (if we ever could), and after Iraq we’ve been sent to the time-out room to think about the misery we’ve caused this world. So today on Rumble, Michael sifts through his thoughts on this crisis, and talk about why, above all else, and no matter what — the United States cannot involve itself in this war. There's a new hit item on the menu at Starbucks stores across the country: a signed union card. The workers at multiple Buffalo, NY-area Starbucks stores formed Starbucks Workers United this August, in response to dangerous COVID working conditions, unequal pay, and inadequate benefits. In less than half a year, they've managed to already unionize two Buffalo-area stores, in Elmwood and in Genesee, at a company notoriously aggressive in their anti-union tactics. This is huge, a game-changing pair of victories — even in a year full of strikes and COVID walkouts. To hear the story of how these incredible Starbucks Workers United organized this victory, and how you can organize your workplace, Michael talked with the Starbucks workers Jaz Brisack & Casey Moore — or, as the Orwellian Starbucks PR calls them, “partners” — two young women who helped lead the organizing effort and succeeded in slaying the giant. Plus, the voting rights bill is on its death march. We’re at the first anniversary of Biden’s presidency. Republicans are licking their chops. Cable news has written Biden’s obituary. A year ago tomorrow, outgoing President Donald Trump gave an hour-long speech to a large crowd of his most ardent and agitated supporters, encouraging them to march down Pennsylvania Ave. to the Capitol and demand Congress “Stop the Steal” — the “steal” in this case being the Congressional ratification of an election he lost fair and square, and an integral part of the peaceful transition of power. What followed was a violent attempted coup of the United States, one in which an essentially all-white mob stormed the Capitol building, threatening the lives of countless workers and staffers in the building, elected representatives from every state in the union, and even the Vice President who ran alongside Trump on his losing ticket. This grim day of white terror was brought about by months of President Trump egging his supporters on with baseless claims of a fraudulent election, all while his own party worked tirelessly to continue to erode voting rights across the country. But unfortunately, this trend of white right-wing violence in America far predates Trump. To try and make sense of all this a year later, Michael spoke with Rep. Dan Kildee of Michigan — the US Congressional representative for Flint, and Michael’s longtime close friend. A year ago, Rep. Kildee talked to Michael on Rumble in the immediate aftermath, after calling Michael from the Congressional floor during the insurrection — with gunshots and rioting in the background. Today, Michael & Rep. Kildee talk about what has changed in the past year, what hasn’t, and what we can do to stop this from happening again. They also talk about how this experience has impacted both of them very personally, and unpack how right wing violence and voting rights are inseparable issues. ***** Read about Rep. With the end of the year approaching & reports about inflation dominating the nightly news, Americans are anxious about what this means for them. Former US Secretary of Labor and progressive activist Robert Reich, however, thinks this is a major misdiagnosis: the problem isn’t inflation, but a lack of competition to stop big, monolithic corporations from jacking up prices. Robert joins Mike on the show today to talk about who is really responsible for your gas and milk prices skyrocketing, and why it’s more important than ever for the government to intervene in a moment when they’re trying to pull back. Plus, they discuss the rising labor movements in America and whether the “labor shortage” the media & big companies keep alleging is actually a general strike of workers across the country. On the day of the school shooting at Oxford High School last week, Senator Chris Murphy delivered a passionate speech on the Senate floor tying together the dishonest “sanctity of life” rhetoric from conservatives and the culture of guns, violence and death that is plaguing America. Senator Murphy has been a leading voice when it comes to gun violence in America ever since the Sandy Hook massacre on ??December 14, 2012 in Newtown, Connecticut. He joins Mike to discuss how America’s founding violence against slaves made the disregard for human life part of our national ethos and how America’s modern day wars overseas continues to legitimize and promote violence both abroad and at home. Today was a chillingly, historically, bad day for women's rights in the United States of America. The right-wing, reactionary Supreme Court heard stunning oral arguments in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, a case intended deal a death blow to Roe v. Wade and make abortion in America essentially illegal. But in listening to the arguments and to the mind-altering questions of the six conservative justices, you can hear far more than the death knell of Roe. After 50 years of the merger between right-wing corporate interests and right-wing Evangelical Christianity within the conservative movement and the Republican party, the Supreme Court has become the ultimate and unstoppable weapon when it comes to rolling back our democratic values in America. We are in deep trouble. So in this special episode of Rumble, after an introduction from Michael, you will hear the full, unedited oral arguments in what will soon turn out to be an infamous day in U.S. history. Listen, learn, and get ready for the massive, civil, nonviolent unrest that we will soon take part in. Mike is joined by Yale History and Law Professor Samuel Moyn to discuss his recent op-ed titled, “If Democrats Return To Centrism, They Are Doomed To Lose Against Trump.” They discuss the Democrats passing the physical infrastructure bill, but failing to, as promised, simultaneously pass the much-needed and politically popular human infrastructure bill, plus the decision by 6 Squad members to courageously stick to their word and only vote on both bills together. They also discuss the neverending campaign from corporate Democrats and corporate media pushing the party to move to the “center” and be more “moderate” and water down all of their programs that the American people and the planet currently need. If you’ve been following the recent political machinations out of D.C. or in any state, you’ve probably wondered at some point: “how did THAT guy get elected to public office?!” Sadly, the bar is really low. The good news is that there are hundreds of new, first-time, working class, and diverse candidates who have decided to raise their hands, take the plunge and run for office locally in the past 5 years. And there are some outstanding groups working to recruit, guide and help these new candidates in their runs for anything from city council to school board to precinct delegate to drain commissioner. In this episode, Mike is joined by Amanda Litman, the co-founder of Run for Something, an organization that launched in 2017 and has successfully helped elect 508 candidates in 48 states. These winners are 56% women, 56% Black, Indigenous or People of Color, 21% LGBTQ+, and all 40 years old or younger. This crop of candidates represent the majority of Americans that want a living wage, climate justice, voting rights, equal rights for women, and all the other obvious things. And while the results aren’t exactly in for Election Day 2021, the majority is winning. And Amanda delivers some inspiring news in grim times. Plus, Mike shares the story of how, in the first election that 18-year olds were given the right to vote, he ran for school board with the promise of firing the principal and firing the vice principal of his high school...and won! After the promise of major legislation that would rival the impact of FDR’s New Deal, Joe Biden’s Build Back Better agenda has been sucked dry by corporate America and their pawns in the Senate. Instead of massive new programs to help children, parents, students, the elderly and all us by dealing with the climate crisis, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema appear to have brought the $3.5 trillion bill down to some crumbs. And rather than having it all paid for by taxing the wealthy, they may be putting a halt to that plan, as well. This is a monumental disaster that will not only hurt the American people, but will once again expose the Democratic party as weak, feckless, and still in the grasp of Wall Street, the pharmaceutical industry and the usual special interests. Turnout for the 2022 midterm elections will be suffocated and the Republican party will feast on the Democrats’ stupidity and ride back into power on it (with Trump waiting in the wings in 2024). Mike’s joined by a great journalist and former Bernie speechwriter, David Sirota, to talk about where things stand and discuss the need for progressives in congress to HOLD THE LINE and not support these bills moving forward unless items like Paid Family Leave, Medicare Expansion, and taxing the ultra-rich are put back in. For the past few weeks, conservative, corporatist Democrats in Congress have been chipping away at what Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders have teamed up to create -- a massive $3.5 trillion investment in the American people. The negotiations on this legislation are ongoing and Mike is joined by a member of Congress fighting to keep the bill as robust and helpful to the majority of Americans as possible, Rep. Ro Khanna of California. Mike and Rep. Khanna discuss what’s in the damn bill, what listeners need to do to help get it passed, what it’s failure might mean to the country, and how devastating it could be politically. They also discuss Rep. Khanna’s collaboration with Paris Hilton to end the abuse of young people at treatment facilities. Finally, Mike listens to your voicemails. Steven Donziger has spent the last 800 days under house arrest with a government tracking device around his ankle. His crime? Well, Donziger is the lawyer who successfully sued the oil giant Chevron on behalf of the people of Ecuador for deliberately discharging 16 billion gallons of toxic waste in the Ecuadorian Amazon between 1964 and 1992. Donziger and his colleagues succeeded and won a $9.5 billion judgment on behalf of the indigenous and poor communities of Ecuador in 2011. Chevron has yet to pay a dime on this judgement and instead, have brought this case to the friendly confines of the United States and turned Donziger, the person who successfully prosecuted them, into the one doing time. Mike is joined by Steven Donziger, live from his house arrest, to explain the Kafka-esque/Twilight Zone case in which Donziger is serving as the punching bag of corporate America, with the American people footing the bill. India Walton shocked the political world and upset the establishment by running against and defeating a four-term incumbent Democratic Mayor of Buffalo this past June in the Democratic primary. She’s a nurse, a union organizer, a single mother, and she will become the first socialist mayor of a major American city since 1960 if she wins the general election in November. The political establishment in Buffalo is not taking this lightly. So, while she should be coasting to a victory in November because Buffalo is overwhelmingly Democratic, she has a very difficult opponent, backed by Trump people – Byron Brown, the guy she just defeated in the primary. This is such an important race -- all the issues we are facing all over the country -- Covid-19, the police state, the prison industrial complex, economic inequality, climate, and sexual violence -- they all play a role in this race. Congress could be on the verge of passing a historic investment in America's human and physical infrastructure not seen since the 1930's. The overwhelming majority of the Democratic caucus is behind it, the majority of Americans in countless opinion polls support it and it is the backbone of President Biden's domestic agenda. Yet two Democratic Senators -- Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona -- stand in the way of getting it done. Michael Moore is joined by Rep. Ilhan Omar on this Emergency Podcast System episode of Rumble to find out where this legislation currently stands and what the American people can do to help pass it. He joins Michael to speak on Afghanistan, the collapse of the American empire, the upcoming 9/11 anniversary, and the end of abortion rights in Texas (and around the U.S.) Hedges was a war correspondent for many years and has seen awful human degradation, societies in collapse, social bonds being ruptured, and people turning to “self-destructive behavior and magical thinking.” Alarmingly, he sees all of these signals of decay here in America. Hedges has also studied the Evangelical Christian Right in America and wrote a prescient book in 2008 titled, “American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America.” He details the decades-long battle on women’s reproductive rights, the cynical and dishonest methods used to restrict access to abortion and how this pernicious form of fascism has only grown stronger since that book was published. However, as a teacher, an ordained Presbyterian minister, and a graduate from Harvard’s Divinity School, Hedges draws on the teachings of great philosophers and theologians to lay out a moral imperative for solidarity and struggle and explains why we must not succumb to despair. "And it's not a matter of whether the war is not real or if it is. Victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. This new version is the past and no different past can ever have existed. In principle the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or East Asia but to keep the very structure of society intact." - Orwell

In the face of knowing that ISIS — sworn enemy of both the Taliban and the Pentagon — was planning to disrupt the peaceful evacuation in Kabul, Biden and his team organized hundreds of flights, in and out of Kabul, to Germany, Italy, Spain and four Gulf States. He ordered United, Delta and four other American airlines to fork over 18 commercial jumbo jets to assist in the evacuation, immediately setting up refugee housing villages at Ft. Bliss in Texas, and bases in New Jersey, Wisconsin and Virginia. And he oversaw private negotiations with the Taliban to secure as best possible the safety of every single American and Afghan refugee. The result? Not one single American or Afghan, who helped America, has been killed by the Taliban. Not one plane shot down. And in spite of the ISIS-K suicide bombings, Biden has not flinched, not retreated, not backed down. He has forged ahead with his evacuation plan with the help of the Taliban. *The help of the Taliban!* Biden is a genius to have pulled this off. Bernie campaigner Michael Moore, here on this episode of his RUMBLE podcast, dissects how Biden has saved tens of thousands of lives — and his reward is to be pilloried by the same pro-war press that got us into this mess and by an American public that has turned its back on him. “We deserve what we get,” says Mike in his blistering, spot-on defense of a President he didn’t want to vote for. Francis Richard Moore, August 23, 1921 - April 19, 2014. He was Frank to all who knew and loved him, and there were many. Born on August 23, 1921, in a working class neighborhood on the east side of Flint, the son of Herbert R. Moore and Mary ‘Molly’ (Connors) Moore. Both sides of the family originally came from Ireland -- the last to arrive being his grandfather, William Connors and grandmother Mary (Hogan) Connors, both of whom hailed from County Cork. The entire family was not only proud of being Irish, they were also grateful for its gifts of humor, Catholicism and music (though not necessarily in that order). Frank’s father, Herb (1891-1970), was a Marine Corps. veteran of World War I and a printing pressman by trade. His mother, Molly (1891-1987), in addition to giving birth to their seven children, worked as a laundry maid, a clerk, and a “Rosie the Riveter” assembly line factory worker during the second world war. The Great Depression had a major impact on the family, as it did for most of the families on the east side. Frank’s brother-in-law, Lavern, was a participant in the Great Flint Sit Down Strike of 1936-37 which launched the United Auto Workers union. Frank was the fourth of seven children and was baptized and educated at St. Mary’s Parish in Flint. He was a member of the St. Mary’s High School 1939 Class C State Championship basketball team -- and he and his team were inducted into the Greater Flint Sports Hall of Fame in 1999. He also played football and baseball for St. Mary’s, and once faced the legendary Hal Newhouser, getting St. Mary’s only hit off him.... Klik hier
